SUMMARY:La Rumba III Festival
DESCRIPTION:La Rumba III is coming your way! \nWe have so much fun running this festival that we just had to bring you a THIRD edition of the wildly popular La Rumba event. \nOn 10th May\, we’ll celebrate Latin music and dance with a day long festival incorporating 6 hours of live bands and 4 hours of introductory dance classes. \nDoors open at 12pm\, with the music starting at 1pm\, interspersed with dance lessons at a complete beginner level that anyone can try. \nFull line-up below: \nBands:\n– 1pm Matt Sullivan – Vibrant and intricate Flamenco guitar\n– 3pm Cholao – Energetic Cumbia\, Porro y Currulao\n– 5pm Mambo Panthers – Infectious Latin American and Caribbean dance hits\n– 7pm Jesús Cutiño Band – Cuban Classics and Salsa hits\n– Late: Djs Bossaphonik Dan and Chez Woods will close the night with a tropical world music set that will have you dancing until your shoes drop off! \nClasses:\n– 2pm Merengue\n– 4pm Bachata\n– 6pm salsa \n(Timings may change slightly on the day) \nDance classes are hosted by Laura and Paco who will bring their vibrant energy and love of Latin dance and have you up and dancing in no time! \nEarly-bird tickets now available @ £10 until 31/12/2024 \nTickets £12 in advance / £14 on the door.\nChildren under 12 go free\, 12-18 years old half price. \nIt’s helpful for us to know in advance if you’re bringing someone under 18 with you\, but if you don’t get their ticket in advance\, we would still welcome them on the day and their ticket can be paid (if appropriate) on the door! \n(OUSS and student discount applies on the door\, and for tickets bought at ¡Muevete! Salsa and Bachata on Wednesday nights) \n  \n\n\n \n  \nMuévete Events (Gwyneth) is supported by the Early Career Promoter Fund which is managed by PRS Foundation and funded by Arts Council England using Supporting Grassroots Music funding from DCMS.  \nMuevete events are inclusive events.
