Wednesday evenings at The Oxford Retreat!\n– Improver and beginner classes start at 7.30pm\, please be prompt!\n– Social dancing runs until midnight\nThe Oxford Retreat are fully open on Wednesday evenings\, so please do join us for a drink and chat before or after the social or even check out their kitchen!!\n******\nOn Wednesday we have a 2 levels of salsa classes as usual starting at 19.30. Everyone’s welcome. You don’t need a partner and the dress code is just casual evening wear.\nBeginners: learn the basics of timing and movement\, as well as some fundamental salsa moves! (we recommend 6 weeks at this level before moving up).\nImprovers/intermediate: This class is suitable for improver-level dancers onwards and will teach you turn patterns with a strong focus on great technique and connection. We love teaching you the tricks for keeping your dancing controlled and getting you ready for busy dance floors!\n**Party:**\nFrom 20.30 the party will be kicking off! Then our fab DJs\, Julian and Gwyneth\, will be playing the best Salsa and Bachata tunes.\nApproximately once a month\, because our fab team needs a break sometimes\, the night will be taken over by Sergio Fernandez who will teach a improver level *BACHATA* lesson and then DJ for us (50/50 salsa and bachata from 9pm\, with a dash of kizomba).\nThe whole evening is only £6 (or £4 OUSS members).\nSee you there!\n[[Venue is wheelchair accessible but function room is not. Toilets are also on ground level but not disabled toilets. Seating is available. Not currently equipped with hearing loop capabilities. Is typically very crowded]]
